Mystery #2Tier 2-3lift / air pressure

How does a heavy plane stay up in the air?

A fully loaded jumbo jet can weigh as much as fifty elephants, yet it floats along five miles up as if the sky were holding it in a giant hand. There are no wires, no balloons, no rockets pointing down. The only thing under those enormous wings is ordinary, invisible air. How can something you can walk straight through hold up fifty elephants?
