Mystery #3Tier 2light / colour

How does a screen make every colour you can imagine from just red, green and blue?

A phone or TV screen can show a golden sunset, a purple flower, warm brown skin and a turquoise sea, seemingly every colour there is. Yet hidden inside, it only ever glows in three: red, green and blue. How can just three colours build every shade your eyes can see?
