We can now change the code of life, but does that always mean we should?

Scientists can now read the code of life and even rewrite it. They could wipe out cruel diseases, or change what a living thing is like forever. It feels like a superpower. But every superpower comes with a hard question: just because we CAN do something, does that always mean we SHOULD?
