Mystery #3Tier 2-3space / solar wind

The Sun seems to just sit there, so how can it have a wind?

The Sun looks like it just hangs in the sky, calm and still, doing nothing but shine. But right now, this very second, something is blasting off it in every direction and racing past Earth faster than you could ever imagine. Scientists even call it a wind, though there is no air out in space for it to blow. So how can the Sun, just sitting there, have a wind at all?
