Mystery #3Tier 2-3meiosis / genetic variation
Why don't brothers and sisters look identical?
Brothers and sisters get their genes from exactly the same two parents: the same mum, the same dad, the same family instruction manual. So you might expect them to come out looking the same, like copies from one printer. But they don't. One sibling is tall with curly hair, another is short with straight hair, and they can look almost like strangers. If the source is identical, why are the results so different?
