Why does a balloon stick to your hair?
Rub a balloon on your hair, lift it away, and your hair reaches up to follow it, strand by strand, as if the balloon were pulling on invisible threads. The balloon will even cling to a wall and hang there with nothing holding it. Nothing was glued, nothing was magnetic. So what is doing the pulling?
